UNM Melia refuses to be part of organizations informally governed by figures like Merabishvili, Kezerashvili

Nika Melia, a member of the opposition United National Movement party, stated on social media that he will not be part of any organization which is informally governed or suffers the harmful influence of individuals such as Vano Merabishvili and Davit Kezerashvili.

“Journalists ask me about founding a party board and the presence or absence of negotiations. I want to respond publicly to this:

I am dedicated to seizing every opportunity to unite with individuals committed to the right goals and the pursuit of victory. My sole condition for affiliation with the UNM is to dismantle informal rule within the party as a crucial step towards ending such practices at the national level.

In any other scenario, regardless of the platform’s name, if it promotes division and the persecution of individuals due to differing opinions, it stands no chance of defeating Ivanishvili, even in theory.

Ivanishvili will only be defeated by individuals of integrity and principles, driven by a focus on results rather than personal gain in terms of power, wealth, and position,” Nika Melia stated.
