UNM Kaspi organization members, including Kaspi Sakrebulo members, quit

Most of the Kaspi organization members of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) have left the party.

In addition, six out of eight UNM deputies of the Kaspi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) have also quit the faction.

The former members explained that “unfulfilled promises by the new management, which led to the party’s weakening,” preconditioned their decision.

The resigned members of the UNM faction do not intend to quit their mandates and plan to continue opposition activities as independent deputies and as part of the new faction alongside Nika Melia’s team.
