UNM decides to expand Political Council

The opposition United National Movement (UNM) party decided to expand its Political Council at the initiative of Victory Coalition leader, ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili, UNM chair Levan Khabeishvili announced at the briefing.

Levan Khabeishvili explained that all who joined Saakashvili’s manifest will be the Council members.

“Once again, I want to offer former members of the Council and all those who join the manifest of unity in the fight against Bidzina Ivanishvili (former GD Chair) to become members of the Political Council and represent the UNM. The UNM is ready to expand the Political Council at the initiative of President Saakashvili. I count on their support,” he said.
