UNM convinced truth to prevail following rallies and int'l engagement

“We are confident that the truth will prevail very soon following the street rallies and with the foreign partners’ advice,” said Davit Kirkitadze, a member of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Davit Kirkitadze, the government seeks destabilization in the country. Therefore, the opposition tries to peacefully protest against the evil and harmful processes ongoing in Georgia.

In a remark about ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili’s decision to call off his hunger strike in return for treatment at a civilian hospital, Davit Kirkitadze said that the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party would never agree on doing something rational and positive for the country.

“These people are evil. They act in unison with Russia. Constant disorder and tension in the country is their interest,” Kirkitadze claimed.
