When asked about opposition consolidation, United National Movement Chairman Levan Khabeishvili told the media, “Nobody invited the other parties to join us, so I told them to band together.”

As Levan Khabeishvili pointed out, it was said about a common strategy and unity around a common goal, not that the party offered someone a coalition or something similar.

“Indeed, the United National Movement is the main force, as I stated. The winning formula is UNM. Nobody invited the other parties to join us, so I told them to band together. We stated that we should have a single approach and unify around the same objective, which is to combat Bidzina Ivanishvili, not that we advocated a coalition or anything. In that interview, I emphasized the importance for the United National Movement of strengthening pro-Western parties to form a coalition in the future. We have the same position. The Russian regime can be defeated,” Levan Khabeishvili observed.
