Unity-National Movement’s Vashadze predicts significant change and results-oriented U.S. policy
“Many things will change in the world, and U.S. policy will become more result-oriented,” stated Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the Unity-National Movement coalition, in a video address from Washington, D.C.
“Greetings from Washington! I am here attending the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump at the invitation of the Republican Party. Significant changes are on the horizon, and we want Georgia to be a priority on the discussion agenda.
I am confident that our unified protests will garner strong support within Georgia. We are advocating everywhere for the release of political prisoners and new elections as a pathway out of the current crisis.
I believe the upcoming actions from the U.S. will be more strategic and impactful. A challenging fate lies ahead for the enemies of democracy in America, including Ivanishvili and the Georgian Dream. With this support, we are determined to achieve victory,” he declared.
