Ukrainian PM: Associated Trio emphasizes our countries' European aspirations
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal spoke about the Associated Trio memorandum at a joint briefing with Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili.
“Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova formed the Associated Trio a few weeks ago. On the one hand, it emphasizes our countries’ European aspirations and ambitions to become European Union members. On the other hand, it allows preparation more effectively for this year’s Eastern Partnership summit. In particular, it is focusing on regional security issues”, Denys Shmyhal stated.
Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova, signed a memorandum on establishing Associated Trio in Kyiv on May 17.
Ukrainian Prime Minister arrived in Georgia yesterday.
