Ukraine’s Education and Science Minister, Oksen Lysovyi, has expressed gratitude to Georgia for its collaboration and support, the Ministry of Education and Science informed.

Lysovyi has sent a letter to Georgia’s Education and Science Minister, Givi Mikanadze, in which he notes that the Ukrainian side is grateful for the work carried out in organising examinations for Ukrainian pupils.

“The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with Ukraine’s Centre for Educational Quality Assessment, extends its sincere gratitude for your invaluable support and assistance. Your solidarity and cooperation are particularly significant against the backdrop of the difficulties that Ukraine currently faces,” the letter states.

According to Georgia’s Education Ministry, the letter places particular emphasis on the work undertaken to organise appropriate examinations for Ukrainian students. According to Oksen Lysovyi, the Ukrainian side greatly values the Georgian Ministry of Education’s efforts and support in this regard.

“You have been helping us in this process for the fourth year now, and we appreciate your loyalty and dedication. The implementation of this initiative abroad would have been impossible without your assistance. We would also like to express our gratitude to the leadership of educational institutions for their efforts in establishing temporary examination centres, as well as to those teachers, coordinators and IT specialists with whom we have had the honour to collaborate,” Lysovyi’s letter reads.

As the Ministry of Education notes, Oksen Lysovyi expressed hope for future collaboration with Georgia’s Ministry of Education.
