U.S. State Department 2021 Human Rights Practices not especially critical, Speaker Papuashvili says

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili does not consider the 2021 Human Rights Practices report by the U.S. Department of State to be especially critical or comprise new assessments.

“The report comprises the issues, which often become the subjects for controversies in the society, media, or political parties. Everybody has different opinions about them,” Papuashvili said.

The U.S. Department of State published the 2021 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, including Georgia.
