The U.S. Embassy in Georgia has started reaching out to Georgian nationals in the United States who may have overstayed their visas. They are providing guidance on checking permitted stay durations and the possible consequences of overstaying.

“The U.S. Embassy has begun contacting Georgian citizens in the United States to offer information on how to verify their allowed stay and understand the implications of overstaying,” the embassy stated.
