Two new ropeway complexes of MTA Ltd. will serve visitors for the upcoming 2023-2024 winter season in Gudauri ski resort, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported.
Open-type 6-seat bubbles will serve 1800-2400 people per hour. Also, a 6-kilometer-long new ski track will be available for visitors.
“The new ropeway complexes and upgraded infrastructure will contribute to the development of the resort and make the current services more diverse,” said Irakli Burchuladze, Director of the Mountain Trail Agency of Georgia.
Georgia’s winter destination, Gudauri, will host the 2024 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup for the first time in February.
