Two more members quit the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party. Chair of the GD faction in Aspindza Sakrebulo (City Assembly), Gia Chelishvili and the GD faction member in Telavi Sakrebulo Levan Kochloshvili announced their decision to leave the party on the social network.

The National Movement party and its lobbyists abroad are harming the European idea in Georgia, and Gia Chelishvili stated on Facebook that he left the party to “speak freely.”

Levan Kochloshvili said he planned to join those people willing to “struggle for the truth.” “I will stand with those who want to help the country in this difficult moment and prevent all the attempts, which may lead Georgia to a war,” he claimed.

Three members of the Georgian Dream party, Sozar Subari, Mikheil Kavelashvili and Dimitri Khundadze, left the political party on June 29.
