Two Georgian sailors die in Greece

Two Georgian sailors died in Greece, Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia told the GPB’s First Channel.

According to the Agency, one sailor died when performing repair works of the ship docked at Igoumenitsa port. He got injured on November 2 and was taken to General Hospital of Ioannina G. Hatzikosta, but doctors failed th save his life.

The other sailor died in an accident on the same ship on October 26. His body was repatriated to Georgia on November 2.

The Agency representatives departed for Greece to probe into the case.
