Turkiye gifts Special Operations Command assault rifles

The Special Operations Command of the Armed Forces of Turkiye gifted different types of assault rifles to the Special Operations Command of the Defense Forces of Georgia.

Deputy Commander of the Georgian Dfence Dorces, General-Major Zaza Chkhaidze, Special Operations Commander Colonel Teimuraz Klarteishvili, Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Ali Kaan Orbay and Turjush Defense Attache attended the ceremony.

The guests got familiarized with the technical-tactic characteristics of the rifles and tested them at the shooting site of the Special Operations Command base.

The new rifles were gifted to Georgia within the Georgia-Turkiye bilateral cooperation agreement in the defense sphere.
