Rector of Tbilisi State University (TSU) Jaba Samushia believes that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze presented significant research on the labour market.

According to Samushia, the findings shape the university’s strategy.

“Higher education and the policy of universities should be linked to the market and employment policy in the private sector. The information is valuable for shaping the university’s overall strategy. Therefore, we believe that such studies should be conducted permanently, after a certain period of time. It demonstrates where we have shortages and where we have possibilities to develop new specialities,” he said.
