Trailers and semi-trailers banned on Gudauri (Post)-Kobi section

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure has announced that the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri (Post)-Kobi stretch.

According to their statement, this restriction has been put in place due to challenging meteorological conditions.

“Due to adverse weather conditions, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is temporarily prohibited on the section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway between kilometre 93 and kilometre 107 of international importance (Gudauri (Post)-Kobi). However, the movement of other vehicle types remains unrestricted,” the Roads Department explained.
