Ten countries qualify for Eurovision 2025 final
The second semi-final of Eurovision 2025 took place in Basel tonight, where representatives from 16 countries performed for the audience.
Based on public votes, ten countries have qualified for Saturday’s grand final: Lithuania, Israel, Armenia, Denmark, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Latvia, Malta and Greece.
Under competition rules, qualification from the semi-finals is determined solely by public vote, with no jury involvement at this stage.
The Eurovision 2025 final will feature a total of 26 countries – ten qualifiers from Tuesday’s first semi-final, ten from tonight’s show, plus the automatic finalists comprising the “Big Five” nations and host country Switzerland.
Georgia was represented at this year’s Eurovision by Mariam Shengelia with her song “Freedom”.
The GPB First Channel will air the grand final of Eurovision 2025 on 17 May.
