Tea Tsulukiani ‘strictly warns’ Giorgi Gakharia that any action disrupting session to be considered Criminal Code violation
The head of Parliament’s Investigative Commission Tea Tsulukiani has issued a “strict warning” to opposition figure, ‘Gakharia for Georgia’ party leader, Giorgi Gakharia, that “any action disrupting session will be considered Criminal Code violation.”
“I want to address Giorgi Gakharia strictly and warn him that any action on his part that implies disrupting the session in any form will be considered a violation of Article 349 of the Criminal Code and will be sent where necessary,” Tsulukiani stated.
The commission chair said the decision to include Gakharia in the session [remotely] had been difficult and came only after “many days of pleading” from his side.
The session is scheduled for 4 pm today. Tsulukiani warned that while the commission has “an obligation of patience,” this patience has limits.
“I hope the session scheduled for 4pm will proceed peacefully,” she concluded.
