Tbilisi Subway has not worked for the last 2 days. All stations are closed. Transport collapse remains the main topics for discussions. Tbilisi Municipal buses represent the alternative transport means. Buses are serving passengers free of charge.
If the sides agree in written form that salaries of Subway train drivers is increased starting 2019, Tbilisi Subway will resume work starting June 6 morning – Zaza Barbakadze, driver on protest told journalists.
The communication between striking drivers and representatives of Tbilisi City Hall is ongoing. Drivers of Tbilisi Subway trains went on strike on June 4. They demand increase of salaries by 45%.
