Tbilisi Transport Company warns of fake lottery

The Tbilisi Transport Company has alerted the public to a fraudulent lottery that falsely claims to offer an annual free travel passenger card.

The company urged citizens not to engage in any such lottery.

“We wish to inform the public that misleading information has recently circulated on various fraudulent pages, suggesting that Tbilisi City Hall has initiated a lottery for an annual free travel passenger card.

We declare with utmost certainty that the information posted on these fake social media pages regarding the Tbilisi Transport Company’s travel card raffle is entirely false and may constitute online fraud. We urge our customers not to participate in any similar lottery,” the statement reads.
