Tbilisi will welcome the 5th Silk Road Forum on October 22-23, organised under the auspices of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. The event carries the theme: “Invest in Connectivity – Grow in Stability.”
According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, approximately 2,000 delegates, including senior government officials, business representatives, leaders of international organisations, prime ministers, ministers, governors of global financial institutions, and experts, are expected to attend.
The Georgian Prime Minister will officially inaugurate the forum. On October 22, seven panel discussions will explore key topics: global trade, transport and logistics, the Middle Corridor, energy, digital transformation, and Georgia’s investment climate.
“For the first time, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will feature the Tbilisi Finance Summit on October 23, organised by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development in partnership with the National Bank of Georgia and Singapore-based Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN).
The forum aims to foster partnership and collaboration, providing dedicated spaces for B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2G (Business-to-Government) meetings.
First held in 2015, the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum has become a significant biennial event, promoting dialogue and cooperation along the historic Silk Road route,” the Ministry of Economy said in a statement.
