Tbilisi supports 46 micro and small businesses with over half a million GEL in funding
Within the framework of the Micro and Small Business Support Project, 46 enterprises have been selected as beneficiaries and will receive funding, as determined by the relevant commission.
As Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced today during the municipal government session, the City Hall has allocated more than half a million GEL to support these businesses.
“We opened applications for the micro and small business support scheme. The dedicated commission has completed its review and identified 46 successful applicants. Initially, GEL 300,000 was allocated, but we decided to increase the budget, and ultimately, GEL 523,000 will be distributed among the selected businesses.
Strengthening local production remains one of our top priorities and is a vital component of sustainable economic growth. I congratulate the winners and wish them every success. We are committed to continuing and expanding similar initiatives in the future, with increased funding and greater opportunities,” said Kakha Kaladze.
