“The Tbilisi budget is now unprecedentedly large, and this ensures that the promises made by the mayor before the elections will be meticulously fulfilled,” declared Zurab Abashidze, Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council (Sakrebulo), during a session where amendments to the city’s budget were discussed.

Abashidze announced that the main financial document for Tbilisi is set to grow by 296,420,100 GEL, bringing the total to 2,506,978.3 thousand GEL.

The Sakrebulo Chair emphasised that the budget will continue to increase throughout the year, enabling the realisation of numerous projects tailored to the city’s needs.

“The Tbilisi budget has already surpassed two billion five hundred million GEL. This figure is truly unprecedented, but we are not stopping here. I am confident it will grow further, allowing us to deliver more beneficial projects for the city and its residents,” he stated.
