Tbilisi Mayor: Specific countries and politicians oppose end of war in Ukraine

“The current war is a great challenge for the modern world,” Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told journalists.

According to him, there are indeed specific countries and politicians who oppose these processes.

“The current war is a great challenge for the modern world. When President Trump was elected, his main promise was to end the war and defeat the Deep State.

Regarding the issue of the war, active negotiations are currently underway. However, there are challenges, as certain countries and politicians oppose ending the conflict. This makes things difficult for Ukraine. I wouldn’t wish their situation on the enemy. Hopefully, a resolution will be reached, and the war will stop,” said Kakha Kaladze.

For context, Tulsi Gabbard, the US Director of National Intelligence, has stated that the so-called “Deep State warmongers and their Propaganda Media are again trying to undermine President Trump’s efforts to bring peace to Ukraine.”

Gabbard pointed out that “NATO and the EU really want the escalation of war in order to pull the United States military directly into war with Russia.” However, she also emphasised that Russia currently does not possess the capacity to conquer and occupy all of Ukraine.
