Tbilisi Mayor: No sanctions can compromise Georgia's interests

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze affirmed that he would not compromise Georgia’s interests in response to a journalist’s question about the possibility of being among sanctioned politicians.

Kaladze stressed that no external forces can exploit Georgia for their own agendas.

“No one can blackmail me with sanctions when it comes to our country’s and people’s interests. Georgia’s interests are non-negotiable. We will not allow anyone to use our nation to advance their own goals or to bring the troubles we regretfully witness in Ukraine,” stated Kaladze.
