Tbilisi Mayor - Introduction of new mini-buses will not cause the current fare increase
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze says that bringing new mini-buses will not cause the current fare increase.
As Tbilisi Mayor stated at today’s meeting, an agreement was reached between Tbilisi Minibus LTD and Tbilisi City Hall.
“We have reached an agreement with the company to introduce new minibuses so that fare will not increase.
I would like to thank Irakli Khmaladze and those who participated in the negotiations,” Kakha Kaladze said.
Deputy Mayor Irakli Khmaladze for his part said that current mini-buses are polluting the environment and are not comfortable for passengers. The replacement of the current fleet of mini-buses (marshutkas) in the capital is kicking off.
