Tbilisi hosts the 8th Ordinary Session of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly
Tbilisi hosts the 8th Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly on December 8-10.
Members of the parliaments of the European Parliament and Eastern Partnership countries will participate in the work of the Parliamentary Assembly.
The energy security, future visions of the Eastern Partnership and geopolitical challenges, as well as cooperation between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries will be discussed at the session.
Georgian Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze will open the session on 9 December. President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, Vice-President of the European Parliament Klara Dobrev and Co-chairs of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, MEPs Andrius Kubilius and Ivan Krulko, will address the audience.
The Assembly will adopt resolutions on economic integration, socio-political and energy security.
The Assembly will conclude its work on December 10 with the joint press conference of Vice Presidents of Assembly – Andrius Kubilius and Ivan Krulko.
