Tbilisi City Hall to continue Endoprothesis program

Tbilisi City Hall will continue funding the Endoprothesis program this year, as announced by Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze during a municipal government meeting.

According to Mayor Kaladze, social and health programs constitute a significant portion of the city’s budget, and City Hall is committed to assisting “all those who need support.”

“The program is available to Georgian citizens who have been registered with the Tbilisi Municipality for the past two years and who do not receive funding for this service through the universal healthcare program at the time of enrolment,” Kakha Kaladze stated.

Citizens or their legal representatives must apply to a medical institution, which will then upload the necessary documents online. If the citizen has private insurance, a special document from the insurance company should be submitted to City Hall.

“Since the program’s launch in September 2023, we have financed 812 cases. I want to reiterate our commitment to support fellow citizens in need. You can take advantage of this program, and the municipality will always be by your side. We are here to help you address your challenges,” the Mayor concluded.
