I think that the High Council of Justice should withdraw the list of judges – said Tamar Chugoshvili, Vice Speaker of Parliament, during the First Channel program Moambe – Topic of the Day.

“I think the list should be withdrawn, as there are questions both in connection with the selection of these ten people, as well as in relation to the people on the list. The new list should be submitted after the procedures for the selection of candidates for judges of the Supreme Court will be enforced”, – said Tamar Chugoshvili.

According to her, there are many complaints against the Council and it would be important for their reputation to ensure an open and transparent process instead of such spontaneous decisions, which will raise fewer questions regarding their decisions.
