Swiss Ambassador: It is paramount to hold free, high quality elections in Georgia

“We hope a meaningful, program-based election campaign will be held in Georgia,” said Swiss Ambassador to Georgia Patric Franzen.

Swiss Ambassador expects that open debates will be held between the election subjects, while the voters will make their choice according to parties’ programs.

“It is very important to hold free and high quality elections in Georgia.

All the recommendations issued by the OSCE / ODIHR should be implemented,” stressed the Ambassador.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili named October 31 as the date of parliamentary elections and elections of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
