Strong Georgia's Samadashvili emphasizes importance of application text

“The text of the application directed at an institution that is, conditionally speaking, illegitimate, de facto, or a self-proclaimed occupying body is significant,” stated Salome Samadashvili, a member of the Strong Georgia coalition.

According to Samadashvili, the Georgian Dream is seeking recognition for the 11th convocation of parliament.

“We intend to apply to an institution that has devolved into what we refer to as ‘Bidzina’s Zoo’ either tomorrow or the day after. No one plans to participate in a gathering of strange individuals who call themselves a parliament. The Georgian parliament is devoid of any political or legitimate context. We will address this illegitimate assembly, which has recognized non-existent mandates, with the appropriate formalities,” she explained.

As Salome Samadashvili asserts, the wording of applications is crucial.

“When representatives of the disgraceful Russian occupying regime, like Mdinaradze (GD Executive Secretary), call for the submission of applications daily, they essentially want the applications to be framed in such a way that someone recognizes the 11th convocation of parliament,” she said, adding, “They recognized our MP credentials, but we do not intend to participate in a crime against our will.”
