Strategy Aghmashenebeli’s Vashadze: Those who incite confrontation must be identified and ignored
“I harbour no ill will towards supporters of the Georgian Dream; we simply need to identify these individuals and tell them not to listen to or pay attention to them,” said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli party, during his visit to the penitentiary, where he met with Nika Gvaramia.
He emphasised the importance of national unity, calling for a collective mobilisation around a shared idea.
“We have one country, one homeland. Let’s live together and stop tearing each other apart. I’ve been in prison, and I know I may be incarcerated again, but I am taking the first step, openly advocating for dialogue, for listening, and for normalising the current situation.
We must avoid actions that could be exploited by our foreign adversaries. Looking at our history, when we stand united, no one can defeat us. But when we turn against each other, things become exceedingly difficult. Today, the country faces serious challenges, and it is crucial to restore normalcy. I am not turning a blind eye to this, unlike those who, on the contrary, incite confrontation,” Vashadze declared.
