State procurement and market research department achieves GEL 14,491,208 in budget savings

In the current year, the State Procurement and Market Research Department reviewed 328 requests submitted by various procuring entities, with an estimated total procurement value of GEL 558,982,157. As a result of these evaluations, direct savings of GEL 14,491,208 were realised, according to the 2025 report of the Government Efficiency Department.

The report further notes that the State Procurement and Market Research Department of the Government Administration of Georgia provides advisory services to state procuring entities regarding procurement processes. These consultations have resulted in additional savings of GEL 5,302,879 for the budget.

“The department, within the scope of its remit, reviewed 328 requests from various procuring organisations during the current year, with an estimated total procurement value of GEL 558,982,157. The direct savings achieved from these efforts total GEL 14,491,208,” the report states.
