“Georgia’s cultural diversity, forged over centuries through the rich interaction and blending of various cultures, is not only a vital part of our history; it is also a defining element of our unique identity and a source of the country’s wealth,” stated Tea Akhvlediani, the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, on the occasion of the International Day for Cultural Diversity.

The State Minister emphasised that the government’s policy of civic equality and integration aims to deepen intercultural dialogue and safeguard this diversity.

“It is particularly important for us to foster a society built on mutual respect and shared values, where members of different ethnic groups can preserve and develop their own cultures and traditions, while fully participating in the public and cultural life of the nation. The state’s policy of civil equality and integration is designed precisely to achieve these objectives, to strengthen intercultural dialogue and protect our diversity,” added Tea Akhvlediani.
