State to determine the status of the parent with many children and provide them with assistance

The state will determine the status of the parent with many children, according to which the families will receive social assistance. Akaki Zoidze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Health Committee and his first deputy Dimitri Khundadze prepared the regarding amendments.

According to Khundadze, the draft law aims at determining the status of family with many children and supporting these families. According to him, the electricity subsidy of families will be finances from state budget.

“In particular, a large family with four children will receive 20 GEL a month and with five or more each child will receive – 10-10 GEL”- Khundadze said.

According to MPs, the families will receive the benefits if the rating score of its social-economic status is equal or less than 300,000.
