SSSG Head Mamuka Mdinaradze awarded highest rank of Major General of State Security
Mamuka Mdinaradze, Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) has been awarded the highest special rank of Major General of State Security.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze signed the order in accordance with Article 73, Paragraph 6 of the Law of Georgia “On the Structure, Authority and Procedures of the Government of Georgia.”
a) To approve the Decree of the President of Georgia No. 20/04/01 of April 20, 2026, “On Awarding Mamuka Mdinaradze the Highest Special Rank of Major General of State Security”;
b) Make countersignature of the President of Georgia specified in subparagraph “a” of this decree,” the Prime Minister’s decree reads.
