Speed measuring radars handed over to Patrol Police Department

The US International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau (INL) handed over speed measuring radars to Patrol Police Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The US instructors held 4-day training both in theory and practice for 18 employees of Patrol Police Department.

The trained patrol-inspectors will first use the radars at Kobi-Gudauri section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi central highway in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Municipality starting December.

The use of speed measuring radars aims at prevention of road accidents and the increase of traffic movement safety.
