Special Investigation Service launches probe into May 11 Leonidze Street case

The Special Investigation Service launched probing into the May 11 Leonidze Street case on the fact of beating a Georgian citizen by law enforcers.

According to the Service, it carries out all relevant investigative and procedural activities to “ensure objective investigation and make a lawful decision.”

The investigation is in progress under Article 333 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
