“They make a show of caring for you, they embrace you as they embraced Zelenskyy, they display your flag as they displayed Ukraine’s flag, they sing your anthem, they give the relevant response to ‘Glory to Ukraine’, but when push comes to shove, no one will put your interests above their own national interests,” stated Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

According to Papuashvili, when the United States stepped aside and talk of peace began, it became apparent that Europe had no plan whatsoever.

We are witnessing this today with Ukraine. Europe, in particular, continues to hypocritically claim that it stands with Ukraine to the end, yet it cannot demonstrate this in practice. As soon as the United States slightly steps back and talks of peace, it becomes clear they have no real plan, highlighting their similarity to our radical opposition, who also lack a concrete strategy. This is exactly the situation in Europe today,” stated Papuashvili on Rustavi 2 TV.
