Speaker: Swedish MP advocates for Georgia's Maidan-style movement, but receives zero backlash from Swedish officials
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili shared a video on his Facebook page featuring Erik Ottoson, a Swedish MP and Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs, discussing the escalation of protests.
According to Papuashvili, Ottoson openly advocates for a Maidan-style movement and the radicalization of public protests in Georgia, and none of the Swedish MPs or government officials have distanced themselves from Ottoson’s remarks.
“Radical donors support each radical NGO. The Swedish government finances the radical agenda of Transparency International – Georgia.
One of the leaders of the Swedish government and the Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs openly calls for a Maidan-like movement and the radicalization of protests. Yet, no one from Sweden has distanced themselves from his statement,” Papuashvili wrote.
