Speaker Papuashvili signs condolence book for Pope Francis

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili signed the condolence book at the Holy See of the Apostolic Nunciature following the passing of Pope Francis.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of His Holiness Pope Francis. We share in the grief of the Catholic Church and the entire Christian community. The Pope’s remarkable character and high moral principles have set an example not only for Catholic believers but for all Christians. His contributions aimed at making our world a better place are truly immeasurable. Future generations will remember Pope Francis with great fondness,” he wrote.

President Mikheil Kavelashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani, and Chair of the Parliamentary Culture Committee Giorgi Gabunia also signed the condolence book.
