Speaker meets Latvian Parliament’s Education Commission Chair

Shalva Papuashvili, the Georgian Parliament Speaker, met Agita Zariņa-Stūre, Chairperson of the Latvian Saeima Education Commission.

Papuashvili thanked the guest for Latvia’s support of Georgia’s territorial integrity, European integration aspirations and participation in the EUMM mission in Georgia.

The sides pledged that sectoral cooperation between the Georgian and Latvian parliaments would continue with more focus on the exchange programs for students as a key contributing factor for the EU integration.

Agita Zariņa-Stūre remarked that Latvia is ready to support Georgia and share experience on the EU integration path.
