Speaker meets his counterpart from Landtag of Liechtenstein

Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili met his counterpart from the Landtag of Liechtenstein, Albert Frick.

The sides remarked that the Georgian Parliament Speaker’s first official visit to the Landtag of Liechtenstein would contribute to deepening parliamentary and trade relations between the two countries.

The two Speakers reviewed cooperation in different spheres, Georgia’s progress on the EU integration path, Russia’s occupation of Georgia’s two regions, and security challenges facing the Black Sea region.

“We exchanged opinions and got to know each other better. We talked a lot about Georgia and how you are trying to join the EU. I said that we would help you and support you to become a member of the European Union,” said Albert Frick.

The Georgian delegation, led by Speaker Papuashvili, comprises Vice Speaker, Giorgi Kakhiani; Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, Anri Okhanashvili; Chair of Health and Social Affairs Committee, Zaza Lominadze, and GD MP Ketevan Charkviani.
