Speaker kicks off meetings in Landtag of Liechtenstein
Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili will hold meetings with Prime Minister of Liechtenstein, Daniel Risch and his counterpart, Albert Frick within the framework of his first official visit to Landtag of Liechtenstein.
According to the Speaker, intensification of communication and relations will be the main topics of the meetings.
“Liechtenstein is the chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in the first half of this year. Therefore, its chairmanship is of special importance. Liechtenstein is one of the active supporters of our resolution in the United Nations on IDPs. We will also discuss challenges facing Georgia in this turbulent period and regional security threats,” he said.
The Georgian delegation, led by Speaker Papuashvili, comprises Vice Speaker, Giorgi Kakhiani; Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, Anri Okhanashvili; Chair of Health and Social Affairs Committee, Zaza Lominadze, and GD MP Ketevan Charkviani.
