Speaker commends police for professionalism during demonstrations

The Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili expressed gratitude to the law enforcement officers for their professionalism during the demonstrations. He commended their efforts in ensuring both the freedom of expression and the safety of citizens at the demonstration.

“I would like to thank our police for demonstrating the highest level of professionalism during these days. Their actions ensured the protection of freedom of expression and the safety of citizens at the demonstration. Despite facing attempts by radical groups to provoke violence, the police responded proportionally, earning the trust of Georgian society. I urge everyone to continue cooperating with the police in the future. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our police officers,” stated Shalva Papuashvili.
