Speaker: Anitta Hipper avoids her responsibility for October 4 violence through outdated propaganda formulations, addresses Georgians with ethnic epithets
“Reckless activism is the unfortunate image of Brussels’ current foreign policy,” wrote Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Facebook.
According to the Speaker, Georgia survived returning to the 1990s.
“Individuals backed and motivated by the European Commission’s Spokesperson dared to commit crimes on October 4. Georgia on that day survived bloody chaos and the return to the 1990s.
Sixty-two individuals are detained waiting for their punishment measures. And the Spokesperson, for already 2 weeks, has been hiding her responsibility for the October 4 violence behind outdated propaganda formulations and is addressing Georgians with ethnic epithets. Reckless activism is the unfortunate image of Brussels’ current foreign policy,” he wrote.
Anitta Hipper, Spokesperson of the European Commission for Foreign Affairs and Security, said on October 17: “The Georgian Dream is going into repressive measures that are very clearly inspired by the Russian propaganda machine. We are working on sanctions.”
