Socially vulnerable children to receive 5-times increased assistance
The socially vulnerable children under 16 will receive 5-times increased assistance – 50 GEL instead of 10 GEL – by the Georgian government – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Georgian Prime Minister said during the briefing held before the governmental sitting. The initiative will refer to about 140 thousand children.
“We fully share the responsibility and have worked about a new system to be reflected in the 2019 state budget based on the recommendations provided by UNICEF. We will do our best to ensure the protection of children and their bright future,” Bakhtadze claimed.
PM also underlined that inclusive growth in the economy was also one of the main priorities for the Georgian government that would be reflected on the welfare of every citizen.
