Sitting of Holy Synod is underway at Patriarchate

The sitting of the Holy Synod of the Georgian Orthodox Church is being held at the Patriarchate for the time being.

The sitting is chaired by Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

The Patriarchate announced on Tuesday that the decision about the summoning of the sitting was made by Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.
