According to Shamba, the irresponsible people are in the government of Abkhazia, not knowing how to rule.

Sergei Shamba noted that only Aslan Bzhania can withdraw Abkhazia from the current crisis. Aslan Bzhania headed the State Security Service of the de facto government of occupied Abkhazia.

“It is our and foremost my fault that these people are in power. We hoped that they would do something. The great tragedy expects us, the same as in the 19th century when we lost everything and we do the same now. If the situation does not improve, we will have to kneel and ask Georgia or Russia to accept us as a part of their territory. We will start begging. Is this what we want? I don’t want it. I don’t want any post. I’m here to support Aslan Bzhania. This government and this President are unable to make any changes. Everyone in Abkhazia agrees that we are in a deep political and economic crisis,” – said Shamba.

The former representative of the de facto authorities of occupied Abkhazia notes that if the crisis is not neutralized in the nearest future, Abkhazia will collapse into an abyss, from which it will be impossible to escape.
