Serbian President: You may see photos of protests, but show me European country with 9.4% growth

“Show me a country in Europe with a similar level of economic growth to Georgia. I want to congratulate Georgia, the Georgian people, and the Georgian state on such remarkable results,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated during a joint press conference with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili in Belgrade.

He expressed confidence that by next year, Georgia would serve as a regional model.

“I want to thank President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. Their country is experiencing extraordinary growth. You may see images of protests and rallies, as we have here, but Georgia’s success is particularly notable. Sometimes, these images can spark protests, but despite that, Georgia has achieved a 9.4 per cent growth rate. Show me a country in Europe that has achieved such impressive economic performance.

I want to extend my congratulations to Georgia, the Georgian people, and the Georgian state on these outstanding results. Georgia will undoubtedly be a regional benchmark in the coming year,” said Aleksandar Vučić.
